East Devon MP Simon Jupp has written into the Chief Executive to express his thanks to the team for their stirling efforts in supporting the community.

"I wanted to write to you all to express my sincere gratitude for the vitally important service that you are providing to the NHS and patients at this time. You clearly demonstrate the spirit we require as a nation to beat this virus. On behalf of the people of East Devon, thank you. Whilst it is a shame that you’ve had to cancel your Ride Out event, I was really pleased to see a number of people have volunteered to support your organisation and that your fundraising efforts go from strength to strength. If I can be of any assistance to promote your cause, please do get in touch"

Founder and Chief Executive Officer for the charity, Daniel Roe-Lavery replied with his appreciation to the member of parliament for East Devon.  'The whole team have really pulled together to allow us to provide a service 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, especially in the East Devon region.  We've been based at the Ottery St Mary hospital since this started and we conducted all of the community swab testing via a drive through service as well as visiting isolated patients to conduct COVID testing in the own home up until the government withdrew swab testing.
