The Chief Executive Officer for the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust puts pen to paper to commend the work of Devon Freewheelers and its volunteers.
Suzanne Tracey, the CEO for the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has sent a letter to the Head Office thanking DFW and 'all your amazing volunteers for the excellent service' they provide the hospital and it's patients. Suzanne goes on to explain the effect our volunteer efforts has on the hospital; and that our 'support to the NHS is vital in enabling the safe and efficient transportation of essential supplies which in turn supports the delivery of safe and effective care'.

Daniel Lavery, Chief Executive of Devon Freewheelers was delighted to receive the comments. "This is absolutely perfect timing for us. There are a lot of things happening in the background at the minute and this letter is extremely important to us. It's a great day when we can pass on these sort of comments to the volunteers who actually do make a difference in their community."
