Devon Freewheelers volunteers marked International Coffee Day (October 1) with a look back to the recent launch of LIFT OFF coffee, benefitting the Air Ambulance UK charity.
Devon Freewheelers volunteer Peter Norster – one of a team of eight drivers who delivers blood products from Dorset County Hospital to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, on the Dorset-Somerset border – was invited to the Frontline Café and Bar, in Dorset, to celebrate the launch of its new brand, LIFT OFF coffee.

The Frontline coffee shop, in Portland, was founded by firefighters and donates its profits to the NHS, RNLI and emergency services charities.
All profits from the café’s LIFT OFF coffee brand will be donated to the Air Ambulance UK charity.
Russell Roe, Devon Freewheelers deputy CEO, said: “The charity was proud to be invited support the launch of the LIFT OFF coffee brand.
“The Devon Freewheelers blood car drivers and blood bikers work closely with air ambulance crews across the South West, so we were keen to support the Frontline Coffee brand, and will continue to do so because they help so many charities and good causes.”
Devon Freewheelers volunteers joined the Devon and Somerset Air Ambulance crew and Doc Bike members to celebrate the launch of the charity coffee.
Devon Freewheelers restock blood every 48 hours for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, with extra replenishments when needed.
